Premium Japanese hardbaits rarely retail at less than $10 in the US, so Yo Zuri’s Hardcore Popper 70F sounds like a steal.
And the fact that this top water lure is the only popper on the market featuring a Magnetic Weight Transfer System adds to the value.
The 70F appeared among the new products at this week’s ICAST Online and has received good reviews from the US bass fishing media.
The magnetic system means the 70F casts further and more precisely than other poppers, says Yo Zuri. It is also equipped with an immensely wide cup face for pushing large amounts of water.
It is 2.75 inches long, weighs.75 of an ounce and has two round bend, black nickel, size four trebles with a feathered trailer. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $9.99. Hardcore is working on more new bass baits for a later launch.
Yo-Zuri has been making lures, lines and leaders in japan for more than 50 years and became established in the US in 2003.
