The Worth Company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fishing lure components, is holding its prices for the forthcoming 2017 season.
Announcing the decision, David Worth, President of the Wisconsin-based company, said: “We are pleased and proud to be generally freezing prices for our valued customers in the fishing industry.” He added that the only exception is a small increase in painted finishes which are made to order.
“We work hard to continually improve our manufacturing processes to offset the price increases we see in materials, supplies and labour. We are quite proud of this achievement for the coming year.”
Worth will again be presenting its products at next week’s ICAST, having been an exhibitor at the show since its inception nearly 60 years ago.
This time around it will be featuring samples of its new printing capabilities for spinner blades and spoons. It says that the new process is capable of printing virtually any image conceivable in vibrant colours with an extremely durable clear coat.
In keeping with its dedication to a ‘green’ environment, Worth’s catalogue can be found at http://lurecomponents.worthco.com/products
