Wiley X, winner of the last three Best Polarised Eyewear awards at EFTTEX, has just released its 2020 catalogue, which includes details of its major launch of the year – the groundbreaking CAPTIVATE™colour-enhancing lens technology.
The lens is the result of four years of development and delivers what the US-based company describes as the ‘most complete lens on the market’. Thomas Wæver, Wiley X EMEA Outdoor Director, explained: “The technology behind it is multi-faceted. The human eye blurs blue, green and red wavelengths where they merge. CAPTIVATE™ lenses eliminate this blur, providing a much clearer and crisper experience, which then heightens colours.
“During 2019 we have had CAPTIVATE tested by the best of the best as we worked closely with world champions from the Wiley X Elite Fishing Team. The overwhelming feedback we received is testimony to the fact that Wiley X has once again created a new level in what is possible in polarised eyewear. I look forward to bringing it to market next month.”
Luc Coppens, Wiley X Elite Team member, added: “I have been wearing the company’s polarised eyewear for years and I have always been more than happy with the quality and overall performance. Its polarised sunglasses are extremely comfortable to wear and I hardly feel I have them on.
“With the all new CAPTIVATE™ lens technology Wiley X has taken polarised lenses to a whole new level. I see fish following my bait earlier and have time to react in time and change the action of my lure when needed. Wiley X polarised eyewear using CAPTIVATE™ lens technology is by far the best polarised eyewear I have ever used and I can’t imagine fishing without them.”
The 2020 online Wiley X fishing catalogue contains the full range of polarised products offered by the company as well as details of its new floating gasket which will keep your eyewear afloat if dropped into the water.
