Danish fishing tackle manufacturer Westin has completed its sales team in Germany and Austria with the appointment of Philipp Teichert.
The 25-year-old from Erfurt, central Germany, will cover the south of the country and a small part of the new federal states. Westin Country Manager Enrico Di Ventur said: “Having Philipp on board is a step in the right direction – it is like finding the last piece in a puzzle. It finally gives us the ability to serve all our German customers in an ideal way.”
Thomas Sanotra, Westin COO, added: “With Philipp on board we have created a complete team to serve the German and Austrian markets for years to come. These two countries have been among our key focus areas, but finding the right set-up with dedicated people that are in it for the long haul takes time.
“We now have four people on the ground and with our customer service in Denmark, we can serve all our customers in these two countries. Pre-season orders have been extraordinarily good and feedback on our new products have been ‘ecstatic’ so we are looking forward to the season kicking off.”
