Uncle Josh Fishing Bait Company – maker of the famous Beaver Dam Tip Up – unveiled three new ice fishing products at ICAST last month.

The Beaver Bucket Station has been developed to help keep rods, tip ups and bait organised and secure for the demanding ice angler.

The six-gallon bucket comes complete with Styrofoam liner for live bait, which can be removed for storage locators and other ice gear. Each system comes complete with six Beaver Grips that hold one rod or tip up each, keeping all your gear tangle-free and ready to use.

“The Beaver Bucket System is really an all-in-one system to keep your gear and bait organised,” said Matt Bichanich, National Sales Manager for Uncle Josh. “Let’s face it – who hasn’t had a day on the ice when rods and or tip up lines get tangled in a frozen mess. It’s frustrating and time-consuming especially when in frigid temperatures.

“This system is all about making your day on the ice more enjoyable and trouble-free.”

The Beaver Bucket System retails for $49.99 and comes complete with a six gallon bucket, removable Styrofoam liner and six Beaver tip up holders.

Also new at ICAST was the Beaver Grip, a tip up and rod holder. It is a bracket that mounts to the side of a bucket in a fish house or garage, and keeps your tip ups safe and secure.

Bichanich said: “We wanted a design that doesn’t have to be just mounted on a bucket. It can be mounted nearly anywhere from the guy in Minnesota, who has a permanent ice house to the mobile angler who wants them on a bucket.”

The Beaver Grip comes in packs of three at $9.99 and each one comes with two rubber straps to keep your tip ups or rods secure.

Uncle Josh also unveiled its new Beaver Dam Tip Up Line. “We have been developing this for years,” added Bichanich. “It just makes sense that when you have the best and most famous tip up, you should have the best line to go with it.”

The High Axial Braid is non-freezing, abrasion resistant and has a smooth synthetic wax coating. It is extremely shock-resistant for violent strikes and performs perfectly in icy conditions.

It is available in black and black/red in 15lb, 20lb, 25lb, 30lb, 40lb, 50lb, 60lb and 80lb tests.
