Trophy Technologies, the US-based owner of brands including Reaction Strike, Castaic, Musky Armor and Bulldawg Rods, has reported a 30% year-on-year increase in domestic sales growth for 2014.
With its second fully-owned TV show currently in production and a deal with Bass Pro starting in June, the Indiana company says it is on track to achieve in excess of 30% growth this year.
“We have just started shipping to Bass Pro so we are much busier than usual,” said co-founder Kris Reibel. “The second TV show will also boost business once it starts to air at the end of this year. For North America, TV exposure produces orders very quickly.”
Trophy Technologies began producing its own television show, The Bass Dr, in 2013, with the first episodes airing in January 2014 and featuring a selection of its brands and other prominent industry sponsors.
The company had previously bought slots on other long-time TV shows, but each episode of its own production airs multiple times and has increased exposure five-fold. Trophy has mapped out continued significant expansion of its TV programmes and has renewed its partnership with Mike Keyes of Keyes Outdoors programme.
During a productive period for the company, Trophy Technologies sealed a long-term licensing agreement for the Vicious branded series of lures. This was followed by a partnership agreed under a year ago with Bassmaster Classic champion Boyd Duckett to produce the professional grade BD Series of signature baits.
With so much happening, Trophy Technologies has taken a larger booth at this year’s ICAST in Orlando. The company’s products can be found in tackle stores in more than 40 countries.
