Two of the best-known predator fishermen in Europe have joined German-based tackle manufacturer, DAM.
Uli Beyer and Bertus Rozemeijer, who have had a considerable influence on the predator scene, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands for decades, joined DAM, which is owned by the Svendsen Sport A/S Group, this month.
“I am extremely pleased that we were able to sign consultancy contracts with Uli and Bertus,” said DAM Managing Director, Michael Unger. “Both will support or product development team primarily at EFFZETT. I am excited to have these two guys on board.
“The powerful additions to the DAM and EFFZET team will not only strengthen the image of the brands, but also send out a clear message about the positive development of the company.”
DAM embarked on a renovation of the brand two years ago with the introduction of a new-look logo, a strengthening of the product development team with increased manpower and a restructuring of its product range under the guidance of Unger.
The company, which dates back more than 140 years, employs 60 people across its brand portfolio, which includes DAM, EFFZETT, Quick, MAD and MADCAT.
