P-Line SparrowHawk Braided Line Scissors / Pliers - Angling Tools The SparrowHawk from P-Line.

New in US tackle shops in the Fall will be three aluminium tools and a pair of stainless steel braided line scissors from P-Line.

The Brisbane, California-based company will be introducing the Sparrowhawk, a featherweight 2.1oz pair of scissors that at just over five inches long can fit comfortably onto a belt.

They are made of machine-cut aluminium and have tungsten carbide cutters that can slice through braided line with ease. The cutters are replaceable and the tool comes with a nylon pouch and lanyard.

The Adaro Jr is the little brother of P-Line’s Adaro. The aluminium-cut tool comes in two styles, weighs 3oz and measures just over six inches.

Like all P-Line aluminium tools, Jr features replaceable tungsten carbide cutters, along with a nylon lanyard and pouch. They are available in both split ring and standard needle nose jaws.

P-Line says that with the emergence of braided line, every angler needs a dependable device that can cut through this durable material and that its German Stainless Steel Scissors can do just that.

It adds that the new aluminium-coated scissors are built specifically for Spectra and Dyneema lines.

They have tempered serrated jaws that will grip and cut easily. The tool also features a split ring tip which allows anglers to change out hooks and split rings without packing an extra set of split ring pliers.
