Tacklestream, the new online platform from Angling International, is ready to go when you are.

The team behind Tacklestream, the new online platform from Angling International, has a simple message to brands seeking to promote their new products to B2B customers.

“We are ready when you are,” says International Sales Manager Rob Carter. “We know companies are still struggling with the problems of the lockdowns and may not be prioritising new marketing initiatives. But equally we know they are looking ahead to a time when they want to excite retailers about new products and secure new business.

“Our message is, start talking to us today. Tacklestream is a new concept and we want you to understand how it will help you promote your tackle.

“If you have products ready to showcase, we can work with you immediately. If you need to make a plan to promote new releases later in the summer, get in touch now too. We can set the wheels in motion.”

All the early indications are that the Tackletsream team will be flat out adding products to the new online platform over the next three months. Adds Carter: “Brands that expected to be at the big shows are looking for exposure, and we can provide that. Plus we seem to have captured the imagination of smaller producers who have been priced out of the international shows. We are offering them a virtually risk-free option to place their great products in front of B2B customers in new markets.”

Since the launch of the site interest has been high, with two questions at the top of the list. How will Tacklestream grow its audience and why the need for traders to register on-site? The two are connected, says Carter.

Tacklestream is trade only, so we need you to register, whether you represent a brand or a retailer. We are connecting the two parts of the trade with meaningful details about new products. It’s the kind of information that you don’t want consumers to know about, and you certainly don’t want direct enquiries from anglers to your global sales team.

“So we’re keeping consumers out. Anglers won’t know about the site, and if they discover it by accident, we’ll make it impossible for them to access the content. In return for that security, we ask that everybody in the trade register to prove they are active professionals. The good news is that it takes just one minute and then you have access to the full site.

“We are reaching retailers through social media and direct marketing but also encouraging brands to spread the word. And we are keeping costs down until we can prove to brands that we have the audience they need to make a difference.

“We believe it is in all our interests to bring as many retailers as possible to one place to find new products, now more than ever. Tacklestream is a marketing platform. By pulling together, it will be a place where brands can reach new retailers, impress them with new products and turn them into long-term customers.”
