Svendsen Sport looking for Regional Sales Manager

Svendsen Sport, the Denmark-based supplier of fishing tackle, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Scandinavian region.
The company, which owns some of the best known brands in Europe, says that the successful applicant will lead and manage its teams in Denmark, Sweden and Norway and be responsible for setting the overall sales strategy for the markets in close collaboration with the Director of Sales. The goal will be to grow market shares using sales data and market intelligence combined with driving sales excellence within the teams.
Qualifications include five years-plus of sales experience and three or more in a managerial role within the fishing tackle, hunting or outdoor industry. The successful applicant should be fluent in both written and spoken English, have a proven record in sales management and strong communication skills.
Other requirements include a knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Powerpoint and Excel – excellent analytical skills, be comfortable with maths, creative problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, excellent customer service and ability to work well within teams.
