Strike Pro has been celebrating victory in the most competitive category at the EFTTEX Best New Product Awards. Its Twin Minnow won the Best New Hard Lure Award in Amsterdam after being described by the judges as the ‘most innovative lure in a strong field’.

Strike Pro President Michael Tsai said he was delighted at winning the prestigious award in the midst of such serious competition.

Winner of the Best New Soft Lure Award was the Savage Gear Soft4Play 25cm. Mads Grosell, Head of Product Development at Svendsen Sport, said: “Winning this award is very important to us.

“Savage Gear is an upcoming brand and this is a true indication of the effort we put into innovation and bringing young anglers into our great sport of lure fishing.

“I am certain it will mean increased business for us.”

Grosell added: “The Savage Gear Soft4Play 25cm has a unique design, size and Kevlar mesh inside. It can be fished and rigged in both salt and freshwater.”

“Destined to be the best blade available today,” was the verdict of the judges as they awarded the Best New Metal Lure Award to Hart. Evia General Manager Inaki Odriozola said: “We are delighted to pick up such a prestigious award in a very competitive category.”
