Award-winning international exhibitor American Tackle believes that a successful three days at China Fish could result in as much as half-a-million dollars in new sales.
The Florida-based company, which won the Terminal Tackle Award in Beijing – its second success at the show – says that although the event was ‘slower’ than in previous years, it was very much a case of quality over quantity in terms of visitor numbers.
Co-owner Darrin Heim said: “If the contacts we made come good the show could create up to $500,000 (US) in new business. We have attended the show for the last four years and were very happy with the results.
“Although there were not as many visitors as in previous years, those that we met were looking to do serious business. We had fewer meetings, but better ones.”
American Tackle previously won an award at China Fish for its MicroWave Guide Line system and Heim acknowledged: ”It is always good to be rewarded for your work and some success comes from that recognition.”
