Shimano has opened its second major fishing tackle service centre in the US to cater for its eastern-based customers.
The Japanese tackle giant says that the new facility at its business office and distribution facility just west of Charleston, South Carolina, offers the same ‘top quality’ service that is provided by its opposite number based at Shimano’s headquarters in Irvine, California.
Shimano Customer Services Manager, Michelle Williams, said: “After anglers buy our reels, we want them to continue to have a great fishing experience by offering convenient reel maintenance and repair services when needed. “Between our two operations – and our 26 ‘Satellite Service Centers – we can get anglers back on the water with reel care carried out by Shimano trained and certified staff, using original parts and applying our latest Shimano technology.”
Shimano also provides reel service and warranty work in Canada at its corporate offices in Peterborough, Ontario, and a satellite site in Mississauga.
