Nick Adinolfe (left) and Brent Bauer: New roles at Umpqua Feather Merchants.

Umpqua Feather Merchants has made two appointments at director level. The Louisville, Colorado-based company has named Brent Bauer as its Director of Product Management and Nick Adinolfe the new Director of Operations.

Bauer has worked at Umpqua for 14 years in purchasing, operations, production and new product development. Most recently he has been Director of Operations and Production.

In his new role Bauer plans to expand and build on Umpqua’s product range. Jeff Fryhover, President and CEO of Umpqua, said: “This is a particularly exciting move as it signifies a major investment in our future. Brent has proven himself to be an invaluable asset in bringing innovative and superior products into Umpqua’s distinguished product assortment and to the fly fishing market as a whole.”

Adinolfe is a seasoned operations manager who has worked for large companies such as the Samsonite Corporation and also smaller businesses with a portfolio ranging from consumer goods to hi-tech products.

“Nick brings a vast amount of operations experience to Umpqua – experience that will be invaluable in improving and maximising operational efficiencies, making us and our customers better positioned for success,” added Fryhover.

“Joining a company that is passionate about its customers and a business that is dedicated to the industry and its people is even more invigorating,” said Adinolfe. “I am excited that Umpqua has asked me to be a key member of its talented and devoted team.”
