Rome Specialty Company, Inc., the parent company of the ROSCO, Sampo, and Donnmar brands, has promoted Mark Kratz to Vice President.
The appointment follows the retirement of Mike Bleem, who served in that role for 24 years. Kratz has been with the company since October 2016, serving as its National Sales Manager. He worked in the fishing industry for 12 years prior to joining the ROSCO team.
In his new role, Mark will still act as the Sales Manager, but will also be taking on more operational responsibilities.
“In addition to his industry knowledge and experience, Mark brings strong leadership abilities which are very important during these uncertain times. I am very happy to have him on my management team,” said President Jack Butts.
Butts added that the company has remained open and operational during the COVID-19 pandemic and believes now more than ever the importance of buying American-made products.
