Rhino Baitholders is a new natural bait trolling system that eliminates the adjustment of the leader and hook positions in the baitfish, says the manufacturer.
The range of natural bait heads is available in two sizes – medium (10-13cm long) and large (18-23cm long) – and in 10 colours.
The fit is based upon real fish and it is this accuracy, coupled with an alluring bait action, that makes the system so effective and easy to use, explains Rhino. The large head has been tailor-made for herring and the smaller model for roach or similar species.
Frerk Petersen, Director Europe Marketing and Product Development for parent company Zebco Europe, and an experienced trolling angler, commented: “All other head systems I am aware of always need adjustment work and experience in handling them.
“That is far from the case with the Rhino Baitholders. The first time I tried one, I pushed a herring into the head, hung it in the water and it immediately rotated nice and slowly, just as it should. They are almost foolproof.
“They also work at normal trolling speeds, so can be fished together with trolling spoons without a problem. I also like the fact that you can offer large deadbaits with these heads, which is highly interesting for freshwater trolling.
“I am 100% confident that the Rhino Baitholders will be a huge hit for pike and zander – perhaps far better than a spinner and wobbler.”
