Relix to make debut at Indonesian exhibition

The Indonesian Fishing Tackle Exhibition takes places in Jakarta from September 15 to 18.

P.T. Central Sarana Pancing, owner of the Relix brand, is set to make its debut at next month’s expanded Indonesian Fishing Tackle Exhibition (IFTE).

Being staged from September 15 to 18 in Jakarta, at the Gandaria City Piazza, the show has been extended this year to include a trade element and will be attended by other top manufacturers, Shimano, Daiwa and Pure Fishing, alongside local brands that include Maguro, Kamikaze, Hammerhead, Shino and Hinomiya.

P.T. Central Sarana Pancing Director, Rivai Susanto, said that the company was making its first appearance at IFTE – it has previously been represented at the event by its distributor – as it continues to seriously focus on its home market.

“We are looking to build awareness of Relix even further in the region and to demonstrate that we are truly an international brand. We will also be launching Relix Nusantara – a series of products developed especially for the Indonesian market,” he said.

Being staged for the fourth year, IFTE was previously a consumer event, but has been expanded to include a trade element. Show organiser, P.T. Sarana Informasi Mancing, is looking to expand the event further to attract companies from other parts of south east Asia.
