Relix Fantastic lives up to its name

PT Central Sarana Pancing’s Fantastic braided line lived up to its name at the China Fish Best New Product Awards.
The Indonesian fishing tackle manufacturer – owner of the Relix brand – won the line category and was voted joint Most Popular Product at the Awards Banquet with the Fantastic 8 – also a winner in 2014 – and continuing the success of the Fantastic family which also won an award in 2016 for the Fantastic 1.
The company’s Rivai Susanto, told Angling International’s Beijing Report that he was confident that Fantastic 8 stood a chance of success in the line category, but was surprised to win Most Popular Product, which it shared with hook manufacturer BKK.
“I appreciate the help of the China Fish organisers who have helped create a level playing field for international exhibitors in the Best New Product Awards. It has added more credibility to the competition and shows that we can compete fairly against home-based companies.”
Susanto added: “This is a great testament to teamwork within the company and acts as a great motivation to us to keep on improving and innovating.”
And he revealed that PT Central Sarana Pancing is planning to build on the success of the Fantastic family with the launch of another line from the award-winning stable at the forthcoming EFTTEX show in Amsterdam..
