Redington Torrent, Predator & Voyant - Fly, Sea & Spinning Rods

Redington has introduced a versatile family of fly rods designed to equip all levels of anglers.

There are three in the series – The Torrent, Predator and The Voyant.

The Torrent comprises 10 models in four piece configurations from 3-10 weight rods. A carbon fibre reel seat comes on the 3-6 weight and an anodised aluminium reel seat on the 7-10 weight makes saltwater fishing an option.

Three different sizes of fighting butts on the various line weights match the size of the rod and its intended application. Each rod comes in an aluminium tube with custom black anodised end caps and a black suede rod sock. MSRP: $249.95.

The Predator is described as the ultimate saltwater rod that has great power for picking up line as well as fighting large fish.

Twelve, four piece models range from 6-14 weight and come with anodised reel seat and robust guides. Three different sizes of butt sections match the line weights and an added carbon fibre weave in the butt section and ferrules provides strength and durability.

A blue fabric rod tube with internal dividers keep the rods safe when not in use. MSRP: $ 249.95.

Smooth casting and high performance is said to define the new Voyant fly rod series. A powerful tip picks up more line on these 15 models which range from 3-10 weight.

A half-wells grip and durable wood reel seat grace the 3-6 weight for extra sensitivity, while the 7-10 weight have full wells grip and anodised aluminium real seats for extra strength.

Not only are the rods available individually, Voyant Outfits come in 4, 5, 6 and 8 weight. They are paired with a durable, lightweight Surge reel spooled with RIO’s Mainstream WF fly line. MSRP: $189.95 (single rods), $299.95 (Outfit).
