The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) – the organisation charged with increasing fishing participation in the US – has strengthened its Board of Directors with two new appointments.
The new members, announced this week, are Ellen Bradley, Chief Brand Officer for the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), and Bob Ziehmer, Senior Director of Conservation for Bass Pro Shops.
“With the challenges the boating and fishing community is facing right now, it’s important to bring the entire industry together under common goals and messaging,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson.
“These new additions to our Board will help us do just that. The breadth of focus and expertise of our increasingly diverse Board continues to amaze me. We look forward to what can be accomplished with this group of individuals.”
Bradley, who is currently working closely with the RBFF on its Get On Board summer campaign, has 20 years’ experience of leading the NMMA’s marketing and communication efforts.
Ziehmer, a passionate angler, was with the Missouri Department of Conservation for more than 25 years before joining Bass Pro Shops, where he is responsible for advancing the conservation of wildlife and habitat, connecting new audiences to the outdoors and advocating for sportsmen’s rights.
The RBFF Board of Directors is made up of individuals representing all facets of the fishing and boating industries, along with state agency organisations.
