Rapala’s ‘best-ever’ fish filleter
Rapala says that one of the fiercest fileting swordsmen alive is its very own pro angler and guide, Tom Neustrom.
He has been running Rapala’s across lateral lines of fish for decades, but no-one was more excited about baptising the Rapala Lithium Ion Cordless Fillet Knife than Neustrom.
Boasting 80 minutes of running time, it is powered by a lithium ion rechargeable battery pack.
Not only will it serrate for over an hour, it takes less than two hours to recharge. The advanced battery also yields minimal memory, extending its lifespan for innumerable charge and discharge cycles. AC power brings it back to life.
For power it boasts an advanced airflow motor design, which enables it to run smooth and cool. The long-lasting motor is quiet despite the impressive torque.
It separates fish with twin seven-inch serrated blades – perfect for fileting fish from walleyes to crappies, bullheads to channel cats and speckled trout to redfish.
“It’s the best battery-powered fillet knife ever – and I have tested them all,” added Neustrom.
