The American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFTTA) has added Rachel Leinweber of Angler’s Covey, in Colorado Springs, to its Board of Directors with immediate effect.
She has taken up the seat recently vacated by Andy Dunn, who has joined Fishpond, and will serve his remaining two years.
“Rachel is a tremendous addition to our Board,” said AFTTA President, Ben Bulis. “Her experience and perspective will play an important role in the work we do as an association. Our retailers are an important voice and she is a strong representative who will make sure that voice is heard.”
“We couldn’t be happier having Rachel joining us” said Jim Bartschi, the newly elected AFFTA Board Chairman. “We have a lot of really exciting work ahead of us as a Board and she is going to be a welcome addition as we dig in. I am proud to be part of such a talented and dedicated team. Our industry is better for their leadership.”
The full Board comprises: Jim Bartschi ((Chairman), Brent Bauer (Vice Chairman), Tag Kleiner (Treasurer), Lucas Bissett (Secretary), Ben Kurtz, Tom Melvin, Jen Ripple, Russ Coburn, Hogan Brown, Corinne Doctor, Joel LaFollette, Jesse Haller, Toby Swank, Tim Volk and Rachel Leinweber.
