Pure Fishing kicks off ICAST early with microsite launch

Pure Fishing got its ICAST 2020 programme off to an early start last week with the launch of a microsite for media and dealers to highlight new product launches.
And in a first for the owner of some of the world’s most iconic brands, CEO, Harlan Kent, was joined by Pure Fishing US, President, Dave Bulthuis, and Vice President of Marketing, Jon Schlosser, to deliver a state of the industry and company address.
A ‘town hall’ style video message went live on the site, where the three members of the group’s Executive Team gave viewers an insight into the state of the industry and Pure Fishing’s business and outlook for the coming year.
Kent told how Pure Fishing coped with the COVID-19 crisis and its efforts to deal with the unprecedented demand for product following an explosion in the number of people taking up the sport in the wake of the pandemic.
Bulthuis reinforced his message and described how the industry is faced with an opportunity to add millions to the sport and how Pure Fishing is committed to creating opportunities for them to go fishing and engaging with them on a constant basis.
Schlosser took viewers through the new marketing initiatves that Pure Fishing is adopting over the next year.
