Ole Bjerke to leave Mustad
Ole Bjerke, one of the best known faces at hook giant, O.Mustad & Son, is to leave after nearly three decades with the company.
Following its takeover last year by Norwegian investment group, NLI Utvikling, the Mustad business has gone through a major management restructure which has seen the appointment of Nils Agnar Brunborg as CEO and Atle Håkonsen as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Bjerke is leaving his role as Vice President of Portfolio Management and Marketing to explore new ventures.
In a statement, Mustad said: “With the new ownership at Mustad both parties have agreed a parting of the ways. We all wish Ole the best of luck in his new endeavours and would like to thank him for all his past hard work and enthusiasm.”
Bjerke currently sits on the Board of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA).
