New travel magazine puts big spenders in reach of global retailers

Fishing & Travel will be launched around the world at the end of the month.

The countdown has begun to one of the most eagerly anticipated magazine launches in angling – and global retailers are being reminded of the opportunities it presents to sell their tackle ranges to big spending anglers worldwide.

Fishing & Travel magazine is aimed at anglers with a thirst for fishing adventures in global destinations. The first issue is set to be published at the end of this month. Printed copies will be sent to an exclusive list of consumers around the world who are known for their eagerness to book specialist fishing holidays and spend big on the tackle needed to make those trips a success.

The magazine will also be available to view online. This not only means a wider audience for fishing tackle retailers with global reach but also allows all recipients of Angling International Communiqué Online to access issues of Fishing & Travel as soon as they are uploaded.

Fishing & Travel is the sister publication of the long-established French magazine, Voyages de Pêche. The publishers in Paris have responded to demands from readers around the world for an English language version delivering the same mix of specialist fishing travel journalism and photography, together with tackle advice for long-haul angling adventures.

Valérie Mokhazni, the Commercial Director of both magazines, said: “This is a big opportunity for retailers with an e-commerce service or mail order. No matter where your business is based, Fishing & Travel gives you the opportunity to sell tackle to cash-rich anglers who are seeking out high-end, high quality fishing gear that they can rely on for their trips.

Fishing & Travel will be mailed to hardcore anglers in the USA, South Africa, UK, Australia and all other places where English is understood. In the past we have had requests from northern Europe and the Middle East for a travel magazine in English, so we are expecting to have a global reach.
