Australia’s top outdoor sports chain will have a new man at the helm from next month.
Paul Bradshaw will join the 130-store BCF (Boating, Camping, Fishing) as Managing Director on November 25th. He will replace Ethan Orsini, who has occupied the role in an interim capacity since February following the appointment of previous incumbent Anthony Heraghty as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of parent company, the Super Retail Group.
Bradshaw joins from the supermarket chain, the Coles Group, where he held senior management positions over the last nine years. He was previously with ASDA, the second largest supermarket retailer in the UK.
Heraghty said: “Paul has significant frontline retailing expertise and is a great fit for Australia’s leading outdoor goods retailer and its large customer base. He describes himself as customer-obsessed, which is perfectly aligned to BCF’s customer-centric approach to retailing.
“Having worked with some of the world’s most successful brands in his 30-year career in the sector, he will bring hands-on leadership, extensive operational experience and a sharp focus on retail execution to the business.”
Bradshaw added: “BCF is Australia’s favourite outdoor store and I am excited about joining a great business and working with team members who are focused on customer satisfaction.”
