Matzuo Kinchou Minnow covers new depths

The Kinchou Minnow from Matzuo America can cover a wide spectrum of depths.

Matzuo America says that nothing can cover the spectrum of depths like its new Kinchou Minnow.

The lure is recommended for cranking, but can also deliver results in deep water trolling. It covers depths from 4 ft to 20 ft – depending on the size – and is perfectly balanced at rest, yet can dive quickly when retrieved slowly.

Matzuo says that when it is trolled at rapid pace, it ‘just keeps digging’.

It has been designed to look like a distressed baitfish with the company’s signature ‘flared gills’ giving it a natural look. It is said to be excellent for trophy walleye, bass, pike, salmon and trout, while the ‘nano’ size – 2 ins to 2.25 ins – are ideal for crappie and trout.

The nervousness of the baitfish is accentuated by its curved body and incredibly wide, aggressive wobble. It also creates an echoing sound that is said to be different from other baits. This is produced by the stainless steel bearings that are chambered inside the body. The pitch of these bearings is ‘highly’ attractive to both active and neutral fish.
