Mann’s Bait adds new twist to Mojo-style rigs

The new Mann-Jo baits from Mann’s Bait Company comes in two weights – 16 oz or 24 oz.

Mann’s Bait Company has added a new twist to saltwater Mojo-style rigs with the introduction of the Mann-Jo.

New for 2017, the bait combines a weighted ball jighead with a hardbait trailer.

The Mann-Jo will be available from Autumn/Fall this year with a choice of 16oz or 24oz painted round jigheads. The lures have flashy skirts, mylar eyes and high quality components throughout, says Mann’s.

“The hardbait will outlast the traditional soft plastic body add-ons by 50-1,” adds the Eufala, Alabama, manufacturer. “There is no need to continually replace the rubber shad or other bait trailers that tear and come off.

“The hardbait will track right behind the ball jig at normal trolling speeds. You can attach a three-way swivel and a stand-alone hardbait or other trolling lures as a parachute option for a deadly combination.”

The colour patterns, which will all contain Mann’s UV glow additives, include chartreuse, pink/pearl and blue pearl. Relacement hardbaits will also be available for purchase.

Like all Mann’s Bait products, the new Mann-Jo is manufactured in the US.
