A last minute decision to attend ICAST paid off in more ways than one for show newcomer, Lit Coolers.
The Michigan City, Mississippi, company not only enjoyed a busy debut, but it was also voted a winner in the New Product Showcase for its Lit Coolers.
Company President, Matt Brown, told Angling International: ”As we had nearly sold out of product going into the show we seriously considered pulling out. However, we were talked out of it and are really glad that we were.
“The show was beyond our expectations as we met dealers from right across the US – and winning an award in the Fishing Accessory category was the icing on the cake.”
Lit Coolers was formed by Brown and two other business partners earlier this year and he says the company has not looked back since. “It pretty well took off from day one,” added Brown. “We could not believe the demand for the products.”
The Lit Coolers are heavy duty roto-moulded coolboxes with built-in anchor points – meaning you don’t need an accessory to fit a ratchet strap or tie-down. They keep ice for several days due to their 2 1/2-inch thick lid and rubber seal. Available in 22, 32, 52 and 72 quart sizes, they also feature a pretty cool LED system on the interior that has a battery life of 20 hours – meaning they are especially good for night fishing.
Another distinguishing feature is the clear logo plate on the lid which provides opportunities for corporate or personal customisation.
