Kistler Rods has launched an all-new version of its Z-Bone rod.
The Z-Bone LEXF (limited edition extra fast) is the latest incarnation of the US company’s flagship rod and is, says business owner, Trey Kistler, unlike anything on the market today.
The rod is built on an American-made graphite blank developed by rod-building guru, Gary Loomis, and his team at North Fork Composites.
Each rod is constructed in the Kistler factory in Magnolia, Texas, and features Fuji silicone carbide guides, Kistler’s own proprietary rubber marble cork handle system and a stainless steel hook lock.
“I partnered with Gary Loomis to redesign the Z-Bone to be faster, lighter and stronger than ever,” says Kistler. “We have used next generation carbon graphite with paper carbon scrim. The new Z-Bones are unlike anything on the market today.
“This is the next level in the development of the finest hand-built, American-made rods on the market.”
Kistler also offers anglers the option to custom-build their own Z-Bone model, choosing components and the configuration to fit their needs.
A five-year warranty plan is available with the new range against manufacturing defects or component failure.
