IceTackle*, the trade show for retailers across the UK and Europe organised by top fishing tackle distributor and wholesaler, Leeda, is continuing to gather momentum.
This month’s event at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, has seen a significant rise in the number of new accounts registered to attend – around 30% – and is drawing attention from across a wide spectrum of retailers.
Take a look at the news on the show’s website to find out all you need to know about the event. It includes how to register; what products are on show from 14 top brands; details of subsidised hotel accommodation offers; and great evening entertainment for visiting retailers.
Leeda Marketing Manager Pat MacInnes told Angling International: “There is a real buzz to the show and we can’t wait to welcome visitors to what will be a great event. From a product point of view, there is so much more to see than in previous years.
“One of the big things about this year’s show is having more product. Feedback from 2018 was that visitors wanted to see an extensive view of each brand so we’re doing that with more luggage, over 120 rods on display, plus seatboxes and accessories and a 20-metre pole alley.
“The news that the TKS1001, the new standalone flagship pole from MAP, is going to make its debut at the show has been a big draw. Plus, there will be a new range of 3G poles that have also caught the eye of match-orientated retailers.”
MacInnes added that he is really positive about the presence of the demo team from electronics giants Lowrance, which Leeda distributes in the UK. “They are second to none in terms of putting what is very in-depth and technical data into easy to understand bitesize chunks.
“Along with the Fishhunter castable, we will be displaying traditional mountable sonar units. And having the guys from Lowrance on hand is going to be a huge beefit for dealers who want to start investing in new tech.”
IceTackle* will also be featuring a large ‘concept’ store that will enable visitors to see the vast array of product that can work on instore racking and POS displays.
All this is allied to great ‘show-only’ offers which makes IceTackle* an unmissable event for retailers across the UK and Europe, added MacInnes.
