ICAST has added three new extra-value events to the show in Orlando this year.

The world’s biggest fishing tackle trade show has added three new events for 2015 and also upgraded its website.

ICAST, which will again be held in Florida, USA, is introducing a product demonstration day on Lake Toho, a prime bass fishing location in Osceola County.

Called ‘ICAST on the Water’, the day will be held in partnership with Fishing Tackle Retailer magazine and will be preceded by an industry bass fishing tournament, the result of a collaboration with FLW. Both events will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, the day before the opening of ICAST.

ICAST’s organising body, the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), is also joining forces with Florida Sportsman magazine to host a golf tournament, also on July 14th. A portion of the proceeds will go to KeepAmericaFishing.

And immediately after the popular New Product Showcase reception on the Tuesday evening, ICAST is partnering with the World Fishing Network (WFN) to stage a concert. Again, some of the proceeds will go to KeepAmericaFishing.

“We tested the waters with a golf tournament last year and it was very popular with both exhibitors and attendees,” said Trade Show Director, Ken Andres. “These events help reinforce what ICAST is all about – seeing product and building business networks.

“With the addition of these events and a full schedule of business seminars, ICAST is the go-to destination for anyone whose business involves recreational fishing.”

To further improve its service to exhibitors and attendees, ICAST has launched an upgraded website and mobile site, with easier navigation and streamlined text that makes language translation more effective.

ICAST takes place from July 15th to 17th and will for the third year running co-locate with the International Fly Tackle Dealer (IFTD) show, produced by the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA).
