Shishi GT-Bio Fishing Tackle Co underlined its reputation as a top lure manufacturer when it won its third award in a row at China Fish.

The Hong Kong-based company retained the Metal Lure prize for the second year running when it was presented with the award again at the China Fish Awards Banquet in Beijing for the GT-Bio Hollow-Great Earl. In 2012 it was successful in the Hard Lure category.

Made of magnesium alloy, the lightweight GT-Bio Hollow-Great Earl weighs just 22gr and has been described by the company as a ‘breakthrough’ in metal bait technology. Its construction means that it is strong and unlike many metal lures, floats in the water and can be cast long distances.

The company adds that since its formation in 2008 its intention has always been to produce the top metal baits in the world.

The company currently exports many of its products to Russia and countries across Europe, but is looking to expand its global footprint.
