Designed to break the will of pelagic giants – that’s how HI-SEAS describes the Grand Slam Bluewater.
The extra-strong premium saltwater monofilament will be unveiled at ICAST this month by American Fishing Wire (AFW) and is made from a combination of advanced multi-polymer and co-polymer.
“Bluewater is brutally strong – with actual breaking strengths up to 200% of the published ratings,” says AFW.
It adds that the polymer/co-polymer blend is not only stronger than mono, it also provides super abrasion resistance, higher knot strength and is softer and more supple.
“Grand Slam Bluewater stands alone among other saltwater lines and exemplifies our slogan ‘When Money’s On The Line’ to perfection”.
Also on show at ICAST will be the company’s HI-SEAS Grand Slam Mono, which it says is the perfect line for casting or trolling. “It is equally at home on conventional and spinning tackle – whether taking on a crappie or big eye tuna,” adds the US-based company. It comes in clear, fluorescent, yellow, green, pink and smoke blue.
