The versatile Max 190 from Australian lure maker, Halco, has been designed to tackle the largest of pelagic species.
↑ Halco has introduced a big brother to its popular Max 130 – the Max 190.

The latest offering from Australian lure company, Halco, is the Max 190, a ‘big brother’ to the company’s Max 130.

The all-new model of the award-winning bibless minnow has been re-worked and is now available in shops in the 190mm (7.5 in) size.

The Max 190 is designed to for a very wide range of applications, working well under fast retrieve all the way through to a 14 knot trolling speed.

The versatile lure dives to two metres and the tapered rear profile gives plenty of clearance for the hook, enhancing the rate of hook-ups.

The Max 190 is fitted with #7/0 inline singles, allowing a larger hook gap and reducing leverage on tackle from a hooked fish. It also safeguards anglers when handling large pelagic species on board.

The sleek profile is forward-weighted for long casting and will avoid tumbling in strong headwinds.

Made using Halco’s high-tech polymers, the Max 190 has thick walls and a reinforced nose for extreme strength and durability. It weighs in at 163gms/5.75oz and is available in six colours.
