Former industry veteran, Clay Norris, formerly with the Cortland Line Company and Pure Fishing, has been appointed Executive Director of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association (IRRMA).
Norris spent 15 years at Pure Fishing, where he held the position of Senior Global Product Manager for almost a decade. He moved to the Cortland Line Company as National Sales and Marketing Director in 2017, and the following year became President and owner of the GCN Marketing Consultancy.
IRRMA President, Ralph Kluseman, said Norris brings considerable business skills and long-standing relationships with many people and organisations in the Great Lakes area.
Norris said: “I am so grateful to have the board’s trust to continue honouring the past legacy of rock and roll in the fine state of Iowa, while helping the association to move this legacy forward in the present and the future.”
Norris lives with his family in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the manufacturing base for Pure Fishing.
