Former Lund President Larry Lovold dies aged 76

Larry Lovold, the former President of leading fishing boat brand, Lund, died last week aged 76.
Lovold started his career in the marine industry working part-time for Silverline Boats and went on to become sales representative in Ohio and then in his home state of Minnesota.
He started with Lund Boats in 1977 as General Sales Manager and went on to become VP of Sales and then President in 1982. He retired in 2006 after 28 years with the Brunswick-owned company.
It was during an airplane trip returning home from Florida that he came up with the name Pro-V, now one of the most recognised trademarks in the boat industry
Lovold, an avid angler, lived in Florida and is survived by his wife and three sons.
