Kenneth Andres, the former Show Director of ICAST, has joined the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) Board of Directors as an Ex-Officio member.
Andres worked for the American Sportfishing Association (ASA) – owner of ICAST, the world’s largest tackle trade show – for nine years before resigning in August 2016 to pursue new interests.
“The AFFTA Board is a representation of the strong leadership in our industries from all categories and sizes of business,” said Ben Bulis, AFFTA President. “Ken has been part of our industry and promoting its growth for a long time. His experiences and expertise is a truly welcome addition to the team. We are excited to have him on board.”
Andres said: “I am looking forward to working with familiar brands and names in the fly fishing industry and creating new relationships in a trade I love. I have worked with AFFTA for nearly 15 years to help promote the sport of fly fishing and look forward to working even closer with the membership on continuing to grow the sport in a meaningful and successful way.”
