Field & Stream has a range of apparel available this year for anglers looking to make sure they remain, dry warm and comfortable in the new season.
Products now in-store include the Torrent Defense Rain Jacket and Rain Bib and the Men’s Lattitude Long Sleeve Shirt and Men’s Tidal Pants.
The Torrent Defense Rain Jacket is breathable, waterproof and windproof, thanks to the HydroProof Elite technology used in its manufacture, says Field & Stream.
The heavy-duty 300-denier fabric is seam-sealed, lined and the underarm zipper vents provide good ventilation. There are six pockets, inner cuff gaskets, an adjustable hood and two D-rings for attaching tackle
The practical jacket promises long-lasting protection and maximum comfort in extreme conditions.
The jacket can be paired with the accompanying Rain Bib, which is similarly equipped against the wet. Made using the same HydroProof Elite technology and 300-denier fabric, it is also fully sealed and lined.
The seven-pocket design features two interior hand pockets, two cargo pockets, two reinforced utility pockets and one zippered chest pocket. Adjustable shoulder straps and waist allow a customised fit.
By using technologies called SmartCool and SmartWick, Field & Stream says its Lattitude Long Sleeve Shirt will beat the heat, with its UPF 50+ polyester fabric providing protection from harmful sun. The cool, lightweight shirt comes in a variety of bright colours and has a mesh-lined, vented back, three pockets, a rod keeper and two utility loops.
The US company’s Tidal Pants come in a stretch fabric that not only provides freedom of movement, but also repels moisture and offers UPF 50+ protection against the sun. The removable belt and elasticated waist ensure a good fit. There are five pockets in all, plus a zippered front fly with snap closure.
Field & Stream stores and private brand products are owned and operate by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
