FeHoVa offers big opportunities for tackle brands

Anglers made up nearly half of the more than 55,000 visitors to last year’s FeHoVa show in Hungary.

The FeHoVa hunting and fishing show in Hungary is fast becoming the biggest exhibition of its kind in the region.

Fishing plays a major part in the proceedings as a growing appetite for new products among anglers in central and eastern Europe fuels the growth of the show.

Last year 55,000 outdoor sportsmen attended the show. Nearly half of those – 24,640 (44%) – were anglers. These figures show why FeHoVa is the area’s fastest growing show and a superb opportunity for brands to get their tackle items in front of product-hungry fishermen. 

Last year’s show boasted an illustrious line-up of international fishing tackle brands, including Rapala, Shimano, Cormoran, Trabucco, Energofish, Spro, Okuma, Prologic, Storm, Monster-Liver, Klárik, WaterLand, VMC, Savage Gear, Nash, Timár Mix, Nevis, Gamakatsu, Walter Seris and Haldorado.

Some 290 exhibitors from 18 countries displayed their products and services over the course of the four-day event. The fishing tackle industry was represented by over 50 businesses from Hungary and beyond, including China, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania.
