Enterprise Tackle, the pioneer of imitation baits, has revealed four additions to its range for this year – 15mm Half Boilies, Hybrid Boilies, Classic Popup Corn and Pellet Skins.
The Half Boilies are designed to bridge the gap between an imitation bait and a real food source bait, offering a tempting alternative to the popular ‘Snowman’ rig. The uses for the new baits are endless, says Enterprise, but most commonly the UK company’s field testers have combined them with half a sinking 14-16mm real boilie.
Anglers can choose a bright fluoro for added visual attraction or a more subtle colour designed to resemble some of the most popular baits.
Hybrid Boilies are the result of a collaboration with Frank Warwick Baits and give the angler numerous presentation options. They will take a 10mm or 12mm dumb-bell/pellet boilie, either fished buoyant, critically balanced or as a bottom bait. The wide colour range also allows the easy customisation of hookbaits.
“They have proved devastating when used as a single stand-out hookbait and have also banked huge carp when fished over large beds of bait,” says Enterprise.
Each pack includes free Frank Warwick Fruit Juice dumb-bell ‘wafters’ in four colours. Adding the dumb-bell increases the diameter of the Hybrid Boilie to 15mm.
Enterprise has added to its range of pre-flavoured corn with Classic Popup Corn, featuring four Rod Hutchinson flavours – Mulberry Florentine, Monster Crab, Megaspice and Nouvelle Fizz. Also new is Hinders Betalin, available in mixed fluoro and mixed white and yellow.
The launch of Pellet Skins is designed to provide a quick and effective means of attaching hard pellets without the need for drilling or bait bands. Enterprise says the new product combines the durability of an imitation bait with the food source attraction of real bait.
The buoyancy of the skins helps create a balanced hookbait, which is available in both halibut and carp versions.
