Two regulars of the EFTTEX trade show have issued a robust endorsement of the event.
Fast-growing Hungarian bait and fishing tackle manufacturer Carp Zoom, which will be celebrating its 21st year as an EFTTEX exhibitor in Prague next year, believes it is the most important event of its kind in the region. Meanwhile, global giant Daiwa describes the show as the key annual occasion for launching new product.
Carp Zoom has no doubt about the importance of the event and why other businesses should consider taking a booth at Europe’s premier trade event. Salim Fadil, Managing Director, told Angling International: “It is the only bridge that connects the European fishing tackle trade, where people from all across the region and beyond can meet and talk business.
“For us, it is a chance to meet most of our customers and businesses that may be interested in working with us in markets where we are not represented.
“It is also a unique opportunity to show off many prototypes of new products pencilled in for launch during the next two to three years. In consultation with customers we can fine tune them so that we are absolutely sure that they meet their needs and that of the bait and accessories markets.
“EFTTEX also helps us strengthen our relationships with our partners who we consider friends.”
Fadil added that the show is an opportunity for Carp Zoom to demonstrate to the industry how far it has come and the complete service it offers to its customers.
Stephen McCaveny, Marketing Manager of Daiwa (UK) added: “As well as supporting EFTTA, the show gives us an opportunity to showcase our brand through new products and technology. It is now a key annual occasion for unveiling new products, our local and international b2b activities and to conduct some internal company business.
“Face-to-face interaction and meetings are also still very important and EFTTEX supplies the ideal location for that.”
Daiwa has a proud record in the Best New Product Awards – winning a string of prizes in recent years, including the boxes/luggage and fixed spool reel categories earlier this year in Brussels for the N’ZON EVA Four Box Feeder Bag and the 19 CERTATE reel. McCaveny admits that the awards are one of the highlights for the company. “We do enjoy taking part and look forward to seeing all the new products on display.”
