The EFTTEX Best New Product Awards 2017

With increased fears surrounding the growing threat from water-borne transferable invasive species such as Didymo, felt soles are being outlawed in a growing number of states and countries across the world. With that in mind, UK experts Snowbee have been working hard to develop a brand new and relatively inexpensive wading boot with universal appeal and applications.

Rock Hopper wading boots are easily cleaned and dried to help prevent the spread of invasive species. They provide anglers and other users with a great protective boot that offers superb grip on any surface – and is affordable.

Says Snowbee: “These new boots are lightweight and offer exceptional grip on any surfaces, even snow and ice, and will help all anglers in their efforts to obtain great grip and protect the valuable environment we all fish in. There are no laces, they are easy to put on and take off and they appeal to all age groups as totally practical and inexpensive in comparison to conventional wading boots.

“They can also be worn with or without waders and are expected to appeal to the rapidly growing bass shore fishing market too, where great grip is required on wet, slippery weed-covered rocks. They also have a small loop on the top of the foot to attach stocking foot gravel guards and prevent them riding up whilst keeping grit and gravel out of the boots.

“The steel spikes are slightly flexible in their mounts to further enhance the grip available and with the strong nylon zips, they offer maximum corrosion resistance in any marine or freshwater environment.”

RRP is just £49.99 (€57), adds Snowbee.
