Eddystone Tatler Outdoors BD200 multiplier reel
Tatler was famous throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s for its excellence in UK-made multiplier reels.
And now, 26 years after the company was purchased by Eddystone Eel, it says it has a reel as good as those original models that accounted for a former British record mako shark and a world record porbeagle shark, to name but a few historic captures the reels had a hand in.
Having joined forces with a major Chinese manufacturer to launch Tatler Outdoors in 2011, this new reel is set to be a major player in the market again, adds the Plymouth, Devon, England company.
Among the BD200 reel’s many attributes are its 6.3:1 gear ratio, three ball bearings, aluminium handle with soft touch power knob grip, corrosion resistant graphite side plates and a stainless steel reel foot for added strength.
