EFTTEX highlights resurgent Carp Spirit

Heading up the Carp Spirit push is International Sales and Marketing Manager, Darryl Hodges.

The resurgence of Carp Spirit is back on track following a successful showing of the Rapala brand at last week’s EFTTEX show in Amsterdam.

Carp Spirit’s expansion had been temporarily slowed by changes in structure, but with a new team, new products and new packaging, everything is in place for a serious push into Europe.

The French orientated brand has been brought together with Dynamite Baits in the newly formed Rapala Carp Division, which is headed up by International Sales and Marketing Manager, Darryl Hodges.

From January 1st, 2017, all products will be under the new logo introduced last year. All packaging is now produced in English and a full-scale marketing campaign is in the pipeline for next year.

“These are the best carp products you can get,” said Hodges. “We showed the range at Carp Zwolle and at the World Carp Classic and it has been very well received. Sales are growing and we are making a really concerted push.”

Central to new product development are full-time product consultants, Michael Kell and Alan Yates. “We are the market leader in France, which is our stronghold. Now international growth is the key objective,” said Yates.
