Dixon switches to American Baitworks after 11 years at Strike King

Valerie Dixon has joined American Baitworks as Pro Staff Manager and Event Coordinator after 11 years with Strike King.
She will also oversee media relations and press releases as well as planning and organising attendance at special events, including ICAST, the Bassmaster Classic and media conferences.
The Mississippi company said Dixon’s appointment is another step in growing awareness of its brands, which include Freedom Tackle, Halo Rods, NetBait, Scum Frog, STH Bait Co. and Snag Proof.
Married with three children, Dixon managed more than 200 pro staff team members and also coordinated marketing and special events during her time at Strike King.
“We are actively growing our field staff and ambassador rosters to build our brand awareness and support our dealers across the country,” said Matt Massey, Chief Marketing Officer at American Baitworks. “Leveraging Valerie’s experience and talent will enable us to create a strong foundation to grow our brands.”
