LL Marine, the owner of Power Pole, the award-winning US-based maker of boat anchors and ancillaries, has closed headquarters to visitors and altered its operating procedures in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
It says that due to the ongoing public health threat, its Tampa, Florida, headquarters will no longer be open to the public, including the warranty centre and customer pick-up area.
Mobile service crews, tournament support and outside sales representatives have also suspended all travel. These precautions will be in effect for 30 days. In a press release the company added: “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
“Despite these changes, Power Pole will continue to provide the same customer service that we are known for throughout the marine industry as best we can. Even though we will be closed to the public, Power Pole will remain open for business during the period until instructed otherwise.
“If you have any questions or concerns regarding your Power-Pole products, please contact our customer support team online here.
“In the meantime, we urge everyone to follow the precautions from health officials and take the necessary steps to help stop the spread of this disease.”
