Carp Zoom MD announces new predator brand

Carp Zoom has stepped up its presence in the predator fishing market with the launch of O-Plus, a sub-brand of its Predator-Z range.
Keen to capitalise on the growth of freshwater lure fishing in Europe, the Hungarian company will have a full range of new product ready for market by this October.
“Predator-Z O-Plus is an extension of the service that we offer our customers across different market categories,” Managing Director Salim Fadil told Angling International. “Many new styles of spinning have been developed in Europe and this form of fishing is especially popular with the younger generation of anglers.
“The O-Plus selection will include rods, reels and accessories, as well as a lure programme focused on wobblers and soft lures. We will make a complete tackle range available from the word go. It will be a full-scale launch.”
Carp Zoom, best known for its extensive inventory of bait products, has also made changes to its annual sales cycle. Instead of sending out its catalogue in October and November, it will now dispatch it to customers in August.
“Most of our distributors like to print our catalogues in their own language, so we are sending them out early to give them time to do this,” explained Salim Fadil. “This will also give them time to insert our products into their own catalogues should they wish to. Printing later was a disadvantage for us. Bringing the sales cycle forward has changed that.”
