TL Burch, of Boone Bait, reported a ‘great’ EFTTEX in Brussels. The show culminated in two new distribution deals in Egypt and Tunisia.
↑ Peter Foley: Missed his first EFTTEX since its inception 33 years ago.

Boone Bait owner Peter Foley may have missed EFTTEX for the first time, but the saltwater lure company’s business was in capable hands. Foley’s daughter TL hosted the Boone booth and reported a ‘great show’.

New customers from territories including Tunisia and Egypt were seen during a busy three days in Brussels, while co-operation with a former client in Norway was renewed.

“We have not done business in either African country before so this was a real bonus,” TL told Angling International. “We have had plenty of visitors to the booth. We brought a lot of new products to Brussels, including our Insulated cooler bags, stainless steel planers and our cedar plugs range, and these have attracted a lot of interest.”

Among the visitors were Marwan El Gamal and Sherif El Ghazali from the Barracuda Fishing Shop in Egypt, and Robbana Noureddine, General Manager of Cirex in Tunisia. TL was also pleased to renew contact with Tor Gaute Eriksen from Chr. Baardsen & Son in Norway.

TL’s father Peter, a classic car enthusiast, was absent from EFTTEX for the first time since the show’s inception 33 years ago because it clashed with a car show in Nashville, Tennessee.
