Double China Fish award-winner, Poyang Black King Kong Fishing Tackle (BKK) will be launching the Lone Diablo hooks for lures at this year’s show.

The company, which won the best hook category for the second year running last year alongside the prestigious Best in Show award, says that the Lone Diablo’s hand-grinded points will puncture the hardest jaws and stay put throughout a fight.

BKK adds that it has developed a fabrication for its Micro Hooks range which involves manual grinding before the material undergoes cold forging. The result is said to be a strong, slim ring profile that makes for easy attachment with split rings.

In 2014 BKK introduced its state-of-the-art anti-rust coating technology to tackle corrosion by salt. The Lone Diablo is plated with its proprietary Ultra Anti-rust system to provide ‘second-to-none’ hardness and durability.

BKK’s new single hook Lone Diablo utilises cutting-edge technology to create what the company describes as a ‘bayonet-like’ hook point.

The hook also has a circular body that has been made to distribute the load equally onto the hook. The extra-long hook point has been designed to reduce the chance of a pulled hook.

The Lone Diablo is fabricated in China from materials sourced from Japan.
